Painted With Love Boxes

I acquired some little jars of speciality jam and thought they would look nice in a cute box for craft fairs, so I went hunting and came across Sam 'Pootle's 2"x2"x2" fold flat box, perfect I thought. You can find Pootle's box tutorial here.

Recipe
  • Piece of DSP 8¼" x 7"
  • Score on the long side at 2", 4", 6"and 8"
  • Score on the short side at ½", 2½", 4½ and 6½"
  • Fold and burnish all score lines.
  • Use this template to cut out the box, you can click on the image to make it larger.
  • Punch out the window using the 1⅜ circle punch where it shows on the template, save the cut out as you will need it later.
  • Adhere the window sheet (1¾" square) over the punched hole on the inside of the box.
  • Glue the box together using sticky strip or your preferred adhesive.
  • Use the 'Open Me' stamp on a scrap piece of whisper white using melon mambo ink (or your choice if you have different DSP)
  • Punch out the Open Me using the 1¼" circle punch and adhere to the previously reserved 1⅜" piece of DSP.
  • Adhere the completed circle to the lid of your box.
