Old Stamps - New Colours!

Today I have used the Floral Phrases stamp set which first appeared in the 2016 annual catalogue, the Petals and More Thinlets and new colours Grapefruit Grove, Petal Pink, returning colour Mossy Meadow and existing colours Pear Pizzaz and Early Espresso.
I used the 2018-19 annual catalogue for inspiration, picking the image on page 109 for Floral Phrases.

Here is what I came up with, I put my own spin on it, not having the embossing paste I decided to use the Lovely Floral Dynamic TIEF.

And the inside...

Method

• Card base of half A4 (8¼ x 5⅞) scored on the long side at 4⅛
• Inside card 4 x 5¾
• Front mat card to emboss 4 x 5¾
• Scraps to make banner 4 x ¾, 2 leaves and 2 sets of petals
• Take the inside piece and stamp the border at the top and bottom and adhere to the card base.
• Emboss the front mat piece with the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
• Stamp the border on the Pear Pizazz banner piece and adhere in the centre of the embossed piece.
• Use the leaf punch to cut out 2 leaves out of Mossy Meadow.
• Cut out 2 sets of flowers from the Petals and More dies with your Big Shot ™
• Adhere the flowers then the leaves with mini glue dots.
• Stamp the sentiment on your piece of whisper white and flag the ends with the banner punch then adhere above the flowers using dimensionals.
• Adhere the bow to the sentiment piece and add rhinestones
• Adhere the completed mat piece to the front of the card base with dimensionals.
