TGCDT: November 2019 - Magnolias With Extra Magnolias

What a gorgeous suite this is and perfect for covering cheap notebooks with gorgeous DSP and turning them into something special!
I have made two and been inspired by the lovely Scrimpingmommy for the small notebook and Stamp with Joy for the larger jotter.
The magnolia embellishments were cut out with my Brother Scan n Cut CM900.

Desk Storage with Calendar and Photo

A few days ago, Stamp with Joy posted an interesting video, showing how to make a drawer with a calendar and space for a personal photo, so I thought to myself how can I CASE this and yet make it different and here we are.
This is another project for our teams 'OffStage' event on the 9th November.

OffStage Derby 2019

This Novembers OnStage for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators is being held in Dortmund, Germany. For one reason or another a number of my fellow team mates are unable to attend.
The upshot of which is that our upline had a brilliant idea and we are going to have our very own 'OffStage' event the week before and I am going to be a display stamper for the Come Sail Away Suite and this is one of the 10 projects I will be making.

Personally my first port of call is the Stampin' Up! catalogue to look at the samples that have been created to go with the products, but how would I make one of those samples?

As Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, one of the many perks we get is access to a PDF which details all of the products and techniques used in a sample, which brings me to today's project...
This is one of the samples which I am going to have a bash at recreating, lets see how I get on...

Crafty gifts, either for friends or for a craft fair are fun to make and these are really easy. I have seen a number of projects using Hersheys kisses and this is a kind of amalgamation of ideas.

Gift Tags and Wrapping Part 2

So we come to assembly, I wrapped a piece of DSP around the chocolate bar to give a measurement of 6" x 8 1/4".
I folded the DSP around the chocolate, using my fingernails to pre score, I then burnished those score lines making sure the edges were level.
I then added tear and tape to one of the long edges and wrapped and stuck the DSP. 
You can see it all in the video below :)
