CASE the Catalogue - Amazing Life

Welcome to a short series this week on creating stunning cards by using the catalogues for inspiration and downright copying! CASE Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit.
This is what I did with one of the samples, I didn't have all the products, so I tweaked it with what I did have, check out page 28 of the spring occasions catalogue for the original and here is mine :)

The Video

The Materials, Measurements and Method (Inches)

• Card base of Thick Whisper White 8¼ x 5⅞ scored and folded at 4⅛
• Gingham Gala DSP 4⅛ x 5⅞
• Scrap of Whisper White for stamping and die cutting
• Length of white bakers twine, or your chosen colour.

1. Stamp the images and sentiment in your chosen colours and die cut with suitable sized Rectangle Stitched Dies.
2. Using colour implements of your choice, colour the cake and the word cake in the sentiment.
3. Stamp the squiggly stamp in the same colour as your DSP to give a tone on tone effect.
4. Place the die cuts onto the DSP using dimensionals as per the image above.
5. Adhere the DSP to the card base.
6. Make a small bow and adhere with a glue dot or similar.
7. Embellish the Happy Birthday with a glitter enamel of a suitable colour.
