Animal Outing - A New Purchase

Hello everyone, I have something new to share today, I picked up the Animal Outing stamp set together with the Animal Friends Thinlet Dies,

I used our wonderful resource, namely the annual catalogue to case this card which I slightly tweaked.

The Materials, Measurements and Method for the above card (in inches)

• Thick Whisper White card base 8¼ x 5⅞, scored and folded at 4⅛
• A piece of the Animal Expeditions DSP 4⅛ x 5⅞
• 2 different scraps from the same DSP cut at ¾ x 4½ and ¾ x 3
• Scrap of Whisper White

1. Stamp a hippo on the scrap piece of WW and cut out using the die on the machine of your choice. (optional)
2. Stamp a second hippo onto a piece of WW 3 x 3¾ and using the long leaves die cut out on the far left side.
3. Stamp the sentiment.
4. Adhere the base DSP to the card base
5. Punch or cut banners into the two scrap pieces of DSP and adhere as shown, you may want to use dimensionals for the top banner.
6. Adhere the die cut hippo on to top of the stamped one (optional)
7. If you wish you can watercolour the bird on the hippo's horn, I used Melon Mambo pencil and a blender pen.
